Kingston marina offers amazing views to Mt. Rainier on a clear day but shall we say the view is even more alluring when there are clouds and a band of fog surrounding the Rainier? That is what I was after in this painting, and surely I would not leave out those lovely boats in the foreground that were lit by the fast disappearing sunlight.
