Beginner watercolor painting workshop - October

Come learn the fundamentals of watercolor painting and walk out with a finished landscape piece and excitement to continue your practice!

In this workshop, we will open up with an introduction to the watercolor medium, followed by hands-on exercise of mixing color and basic washes so you know what kind of paint consistency you should look for when you paint different areas of the scene. 

After that, we will paint a simple but beautiful landscape together – a big oak tree against the backdrop of pastures and a little town in the background. For each area we're going to paint,  you will watch me demonstrating it and then you will do it, with hands-on coaching. As we go along, you will also learn tips and techniques of creating depth, atmosphere and intrigue, how to keep the painting look fresh vs. overworked. 

ATTN: Although this workshop doesn't require prior experience, it is however quite involved and thus not ideal for young children. Please contact me prior to reserving the workshop for your kids.
